The Disintegration of Non-Ideological Alliances: BRICS as a Conspicuous Example

We diverge from the prevailing and widespread narrative in political analysis when we assert the absence of an objective geostrategic proportionality between the BRICS alliance and the West.

However, our assertion is not based on speculation, ideological inclination, preconceived judgments, or predetermined opinions; we corroborate our stance with evidence that decisively refutes opposing views and dispels doubts. This is unless the opposition stems from an intransigence that does not aim for an objective and scientific debate.

Others will argue that the BRICS summit in Johannesburg, South Africa in August of 2023, extending invitations to “Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates to become members of BRICS at the beginning of 2024,” indicates the alliance’s rise to become a political and objective counterpart to the West and serves as evidence that it is positioning itself to assume a role equivalent to that of the Western global pole.
