Biden Warns Europe: Putin “Will not stop at Ukraine”

Speaking in Paris during the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings alongside President Emmanuel Macron, “All of Europe will be threatened, we are not going to let that happen,” Biden said.i “The United States is standing strong with Ukraine. We will not, I say it again, walk away,” he added.ii
Dr. Mohammad Walid Yousef, in “The Essence of the International Order” (completed in 2016), stated that “Russia will push the conflict in Europe to unprecedented heights when it crosses the Russian-Polish borders – the point at which Germany and France will enter the battlefield, backed by NATO.”
Dr. Yousef had foreseen the scenario of the war in Europe starting in Ukraine and spreading to the rest of the continent. He pointed out that a significant depression in the Russian economy “will push Russian leadership to more extreme positions and to look for ways to correct the weakness afflicting it militarily, administratively, and politically, which will result in social and political disturbances in the Russian Federation nations and the collapse of the Putin regime through early elections, or a military coup installing nationalist military men in power.”
He added that “Russia will be in an extensive conflict in order to maintain its position as a global pole because, without Ukraine, it will regress to become a regional Asian power at the level of Indonesia or South Korea, which does not satisfy Russia’s ambitions.”
He clarified that “to avoid the ignition of social revolts and a military coup, Putin has to occupy the army with a crisis bigger than that of the current economic crisis, which will shift the blame about the crisis from Putin’s administration. Putin will gradually escalate the military conflict in Ukraine to reach the borders of Poland.”
“Ukraine and Poland will be the major battlefield that will lure states and current to poles to the fight. […] Historical necessity requires Moscow to send army brigades one after the other to Ukraine, which will not stop at the Easter provinces’ borders. The army will seize the strategic port in Mariupol on the Sea of Azov, then march to Kyiv, intensifying the crisis in Europe and the schism between Russia and the West, after which Russian troops will march on to Lviv, the capital of Western Ukraine and a stronghold of Ukrainian nationalists. They will use Lviv as a launching pad toward the Polish borders. Russia will cross the Polish borders to avoid the muddy waters of a war with revolutionary factions in Ukraine. At this point, Germany and France, backed by NATO, will enter the war. […] Poland, a NATO member, will demand the application of Article 5, which requires the Alliance to intervene to protect the borders and soil of a member state, forcing the USA to put boots on the ground to protect its interests and those of its allies in Poland and Eastern Europe where essential parts of the US missile defense system are posted. […] In this situation, Germany will be compelled to intervene against this Russian threat at its doors since it shares a long border with Poland, and any threat to Poland is also a threat to Berlin – like it is a threat to other major European countries such as France, Britain, and Italy – causing a large conflict in Eastern in Central Europe.”
